Education Nepal was created with the belief that every community deserves a chance to thrive. Safety and empowerment through education for the members of the community is the key to a brighter future.

Today marks eight years since our journey as Education Nepal started. A journey that we’ve made the very difficult decision to end here.
Since the very start, our vision has been to create a multiplier effect, with education as a starting point. This is because we have always believed that education is one of the most powerful tools an individual can have to build a brighter future for themselves and their community.
So, for the past eight years, we have dedicated our work to providing safe and quality education to children and women in Nepal. We have helped rebuild a school, sponsored women’s education and training in earthquake-resistant construction, and, soon, provided another school with new, sustainable and safe classrooms. And we’re proud of what we have achieved.
What will happen next is that we will donate the remaining funds to the project of rebuilding the Sahara Bal Bikash Kendra School, as planned. And great news – these funds will cover the final costs of finishing the project! We will no longer accept donations, however, we will keep updating you about the progress of the new classrooms for Sahara Bal Bikash Kendra School on our website and social media.
